The Guy's & St Thomas' Kidney Patients' Association (GSTTKPA) is a small but active charity staffed entirely by volunteers.
We rely on fundraising and the generosity of our supporters to generate income which goes towards helping adults and children with kidney disease to live life to the full.
GSTTKPA aims to support kidney patients and kidney research at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital and the Evelina London Children's Hospital. Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is a centre of excellence for the treatment of kidney disease and its services treat adults living in South East London and the surrounding areas and children living in an area stretching from the Channel Islands to Norfolk. There are currently around 6,000 nationally on the transplant list waiting for a kidney; but tragically many die waiting and even for those lucky enough to get a transplant, this is only the best treatment there is - it is not a cure.
